Who we are

This privacy policy explains how PrizePals collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you enter our games, create an account, or contact us.

What we collect

  • Name, date of birth, email address, and phone number when you register an account.
  • Billing address and payment details when you buy tickets, processed by our payment provider, we do not store your full card details ourselves.
  • Postal address if you post a free entry to us.
  • Your answer to the skill question and your ticket numbers, so we can run a fair draw.
  • Basic technical data, such as IP address and browser type, for security and fraud prevention.

Why we collect it, and our legal basis

  • To process ticket purchases and deliver prizes, this is necessary to perform our contract with you.
  • To confirm you are 18 or over, since our games are not open to under 18s, this is a legal requirement.
  • To prevent fraud and multiple free entries from the same person, this is our legitimate interest.
  • To send order confirmations, win notifications, and, where you have agreed, promotional emails about new games.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum data necessary with our payment provider to process transactions, and with our email platform to send order and win notifications. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

How long we keep it

We keep order and entry records for as long as needed for fraud prevention, winner verification, and our own legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account, see our account deletion page. Deletion requests are actioned once any live tickets you hold have been drawn, so we can still verify winners fairly.

Cookies

We use cookies needed to run your shopping cart and keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies without your consent.
